Legal Aid WA - means tested Family Dispute Resolution fees

This service aims to settle disputes about children and property issues by conducting confidential conferences between parties with the assistance of a fully qualified chairperson. The chairperson has extensive family law or family mediation experience.

If you would like to participate in dispute resolution, telephone the Legal Aid WA Information Line on 1300 650 579 or visit the Legal Aid website.

Eligibility

The service is subject to a means test. A party to a conference may be asked to pay part or all of the costs associated with their participation in the conference including a half share of the Chairperson’s costs. In some cases, no contribution will be required.
